On October, 28th, 2003 in Moscow the second Russian Forum of Intel for implementators (Intel Developer Forum, IDF) on which it will be read about 50 hours of the lectures devoted to various computer and communication processing techniques opens

Basis of a modern civilisation and source of prosperity of the advanced countries are high technologies and the high technology productions which basis is made by semiconducting and computer branches of the industry. Intensive development of these branches is impossible without the international integration grounded on a division of labour and a hard work of huge number of experts and managers. To the purposes of coordination of their efforts, and also propagation of reachings and the announcement of the newest products are numerous exhibitions and scientifically-thnicheskie conferences. The largest conference is Forum IDF (IDF - Intel Developer Forum).

Forum IDF is a series of regular international actions — sessions IDF, the implementators aimed at direct dialogue hardware and the software with engineers of Intel and leaders of the industry. It provides a timely exchange of knowledge and carrying out of discussions in the field of the newest processing techniques.

Within the limits of the given series of the actions traditionally started in the USA, in cities of the Silicon valley allocated in the State of California, perspective processing techniques and the newest products are announced. As an example it is possible to result, for example, the following historical events for the branch, defined its subsequent development.

Further according to the accelerated development of the branches, linked to high technologies at Forums IDF have found reflexion various innovations. As examples it is possible to result Gigabit Ethernet, the newest server, desktop and transportable solutions, wireless processing techniques of data transfer, and also perspective standards and specifications. Besides, prkticheski at each session problems of evolution on the basis of Moore's law of architectures of monolithic microcircuits and path of their solution on the basis of development of solid-state technologies are discussed.

The last years the idea convergence of computer arrangements with communication processing techniques became one of priority directions of development of branch, major of which are wireless ways of data transfer. As an example of development of the given ideas it is possible to result processing technique Centrino (the processor of Pentium M, a transportable chip set and the wireless communication controller under the standard 802.11Х), during short time the won popularity for manufacturers and users.

Besides, the big future Intel corporation links the operations to processing technique «the wireless Internet on one chip», realised in the set of processors Intelj PXA800 more known under code name Manitoba.

All these developments were at various times represented at Forums IDF.

Last year Forum IDF has taken place for the first time in Moscow (on October, 2nd 2002г.). Russia became first country EMAR (the locale banking countries of Eastern Europe, the Near East and Africa) in which territory there has transited Forum visiting session, here the fifth year being one of key events in the world industry of information technologies.

Adapting and implantation of modern computer and communication processing techniques, construction original technological ekosistem on the basis of the architecture of Intels including both hardware, and program solutions became the essential of Moscow forum IDF. For representatives of the Russian companies-manufacturers and implementators of the computer and telecommunication equipment it has been led about 20 hours lecture and a practical training. Occupations were led as gathered of many countries of the world by engineers of the company of Intel, and experts of other companies-leaders of branch of information technologies. A number of actions has been led by experts of the Nizhniy Novgorod Centre of Intel in software engineering.

With reports on strategic directions in the computer industry representatives of the top management of Intel who specially have with that end in view visited Moscow have appeared. In the performance Krejg Barrett has told about perspectives of development of current technologies for the purpose of further perfection of the architecture of semiconducting units according to Moore's law. These units make a basis of resources of information processing which make considerable impact on development of a modern society.

He has called the government, leaders of business and processing techniques of Russia to create and insert processing techniques of a new generation for support of competitiveness of the country in the world market. Appearing at the Forum of Intel for implementators in Moscow before an audience from approximately 800 persons, Barrett has outlined the future of digital processing techniques and has urged Russia to keep development of computer and telecommunication branches of economy with accent on processing technique of following generation.

«The modern economy depends on information technologies more and more, - Barrett has marked. – Russia, from it fast an emerging market of processing techniques and an abundance of technical talents, has all premises to become the leader of world branch of high technologies. Growth of information technologies in the world market gives Russia considerable possibilities for creation of new workstations and new production, and also for the export extension».

In the performance Krejg Barret has declared schedules of creation of laboratory of wireless processing techniques in Nizhni Novgorod and three communication laboratories at leading HIGH SCHOOLS of Russia.
