Rather recently in the computer market there were domestic production Пельтье units. These are simple, reliable and rather cheap ($7 - $15) arrangements. As a rule, the cooling fan is not a part. Nevertheless, similar units allow not only to get acquainted with perspective resources of cooling, but also to use them directly in protection systems of computer components. Here short parametres of one of samples.

Cooler PAX56B is developed for cooling of processors of Pentium and Pentium-MMX Intel corporations, Cyrix and AMD, working on frequencies to 200 MHz. The thermoelectric unit in the size 30ґ30 mm allows a cooler to maintain temperature of the processor more low 63 °C at power disseminated by it of 25 W and external temperature equal 25 °C. Because the majority of processors disseminate the smaller power, the given cooler allows to maintain temperature of the processor much more low, than many alternative coolers on the basis of heat sinks and fans. Power supply of Пельтье unit which is a part of cooler PAX56B, is carried out from a source 5 In, capable to provide a current 1,5 And (maximum). Cooler PA6EXB is developed for cooling of more powerful processors of Pentiums-MMX disseminating power to 40 W. This cooler approaches for all processors of corporations of Intel, Cyrix and AMD, hooked up through Socket 5 or Socket 7. The thermoelectric Пельтье unit which is a part of cooler PA6EXB has the size 40ґ40 mm and consumes a maximum a current 8 And (usually 3) at power 5 In with hooking up through the standard plug of power supply of the computer. The common size of cooler PA6EXB makes 60ґ60ґ52,5 mm. At installation of the given cooler for good heat exchange of the heat sink with a surrounding medium it is necessary to provide open space round a cooler at least 10 mm from above and 2,5 mm on each side. Cooler PA6EXB provides temperature of the processor 62,7 °C at power disseminated by it of 40 W and external temperature 45 °C. Considering a principle of operation of the thermoelectric unit which is a part of the given cooler, in order to avoid moisture and short circuit condensation it is necessary to avoid usage of programs which translate the processor in a sleeping mode to long time. Cooler DT-P54A (also it is known under name PA5B of Computernerd corporation) is developed for Pentium processors. However some corporations offering these coolers in the market, recommend it and to users of Cyrix/IBM 6x86 and AMD K6. The heat sink which is a part of a cooler, is small enough. Its sizes 29ґ29 mm. The temperature-sensitive element which if necessary will notify on an overheat is built in a cooler. It also inspects unit Pelte. The external inspecting arrangement enters Into a package. It fulfils functions of the control over power and the operation of unit Pelte, fan operation, and also processor temperature. The arrangement will produce alarming if unit Pelte or the fan have failed if the fan is spun with a speed smaller, than on 70 % from necessary value (4500 RPM) or the processor temperature has risen above 145°F (63°C). It deprives of possibility to instal it on other, more powerful heat sink. As to the fan its construction is characterised by high level of dependability and it possesses high parametres: a supply voltage - 12 In, speed of rotation - 4500 RPM, speed of feed of air - 6.0 CFM, power consumption - 1 W, noise qualities - 30 db. This cooler is efficient enough and useful at dispersal. However in some cases of dispersal of the processor it is necessary to take advantage of simply big heat sink and a good cooler. The price of this cooler makes from $39 to $49. The specified price is resulted according to the price-list of several corporations on the middle of 2000

Cooler AC-P2 is developed for processors of type of Pentium II. The package includes 60 mm a cooler, the heat sink and unit Pelte in the size of 40 mm. The MHz badly approaches to processors of Pentium II 400 and above as chips of memory SRAM practically are not cooled. The Guiding price for the middle of 2000 - $59.

Cooler PAP2X3B (fig. 8) is similar AOC AC-P2. In it two 60 mm of a cooler are added. Problems with cooling of memory SRAM remained unsolved. It is necessary to mark, that the cooler is not recommended to be used together with cooling programs, such as, for example, CpuIdle, and also under operating systems of Windows NT or Linux as moisture condensation on the processor is probable.
