In conclusion of the given article consisting of three parts, published in three consecutive numbers of the given log, it is necessary to underline, that the presented substance is not the abstract information on possibilities of applied and system support, and represents the results received as a result of a continuous duty of described software.

Authors within several years in the conditions of usage of different operating systems and computer platforms successfully apply the resulted resources of dynamic compression of the information, hranimoj on the hard disks released, by the way, by different manufacturers. Personal computers Desktop with processors i486DX-33, i486DX2-66, Intel of Pentium OverDrive of 83 MHz (P24T), Intel of Pentium III 550 MHz (kernel Coppermine, Slot 1, processor bus FSB of 100 MHz) thus used      . Last about 733 MHz, by the way, has been dispersed : FSB with the clock rate increased to 133 MHz, a chip set i440BXAGPset.

For those who has forgotten as processors i486DX2-66 look, Intels of Pentium OverDrive of 83 MHz (P24T) and Intel of Pentium III 550 MHz are resulted their photo on fig. 28-29.

Besides, the resources of dynamic compression described above, have prolonged an active life of deserved and already unmodern computer Notebook Everex c the processor i386SX-25 and the coprocessor i387SX. Now upgrade of similar computers, for example, hard disk changeover as it is obvious, is inexpedient for economic reasons.

In subsystems of disk memory of the specified computers following models of hard disks were applied, the information on which has been subjected compression by means of described above resources: Conner 210 Mb, WD 850 Mb, WD 2,1 Gbytes, Seagate 1 Gbyte, IBM of 20,5 Gbytes. In structure of the mentioned model of computer NoteBook the regular arrangement of IBM has been used. Thus declared information capacity of this arrangement made only 80 Mb, and after usage of resources of dynamic compression — DriveSpace it has increased to 200 Mb (depends on a compression degree).

By the way, nothing prohibits to take advantage of the described methods and software for the extension of size and appropriate transportable disk drives, for example, ZIV Drive.

It is necessary to mark, that the considered resources of dynamic compression of programs and computer data provide high performance of usage of an accessible information field of the hard disks applied as a part of personal computers, the tasks oriented to a wide spectrum. By means of performance of appropriate procedures of dynamic compression the information capacity of hard disks can be increased on the average in 2-3 times. Certainly, the band of the extension of an information field of disk drives substantially depends on a compression degree, that, as well as in case of all programs of archiving which concern Arj, Rar, Zip and WinZip, etc ., depends on structure and character of the processed computer information.

By the way, it is necessary to underline, that usage of possibilities of dynamic compression at all does not mean refusal of the traditional archivers providing extreme accessible levels of a compression of programs and data. The modes considered above are intended to expand possibilities of a modern firmware and more effectively to use an accessible information field of the hard disks which are a part of computers Desktop and Notebook.

As a rule, the subjected operations of a compression type files jpg and gif are compressed slightly. It is linked by that already compressed files usually decrease only for 1-5 %. These problems are observed with the files handled both traditional program archivers, and resources of dynamic compression.

Files of formats tif and bmp, often used for representation of video maps in computers and digital cameras are effectively compressed.

The degree of compression of text files of type txt and doc depends on character and structure of the information containing in them. Thus the files of this type handled by described resources of dynamic compression, decrease with the aspect ratioes which value are usually in a band from ones and a half to five.

Files of databases, for example, a format dbf, used in such database management systems (DBMS), as dBase set, FoxPro, Clipper, etc ., by resources of dynamic compression are quite often compressed in 10 (usually in 3-5 times) and even more time. It is in appropriate way expands an information field of used hard disks of computers Desktop and Notebook. At usage of exclusively such strongly compressed files the information capacity of a hard disk increases rather strongly. For example, in case of usage of similar objects of a compression a hard disk with the declared size of 1 Gbytes (the extremely modest size to measures of present time even for laptops of type Notebook) actually increases resources of dynamic compression to 10 Gbytes if databases such, of course, use, generally speaking, rather big size.

It is necessary to add, that in addition to rise of efficiency of usage of the hard disks, the considered software of a dynamic compression contrary to a popular belief of some very cautious users provide reliable enough storage of the compressed programs and data. It is supported not only the appropriate built in structures of the last versions of operating systems, but also special, hardware-software units of hard disks and other parts of the modern computer. The specified resources provide for a long time uninterrupted and non-failure operation of a subsystem of disk memory though, it is necessary to recognise, that sometimes there are also cases of mortality of some hard disks. During such extremal moments difficultly for it to blame used resources of dynamic compression or traditional program archivers. For minimisation of consequences of glitches, as well as in case of usage of disks with not compressed information, it is not necessary to forget about saving resources (Back Up) information, and also hardware-software diagnostics and restoring of arrangements and the information.

As diagnostic aids and restoring can be applied as standard — ScanDisk, CheckDisk, Norton Disk Doctor, etc., and specialised programs and utilities, and also the hardware accessible in main professionals of the centres of technical support.

As to special hardware-software resources of rise of dependability of used disk drives it is expedient to remind, that they are even more often built in recently as mandatory components structure, practically, all disk drives released now. The size of the modern hard disks calculated for mass sector of the market, already rather has stepped for a long time over a boundary of 10 Gbytes and can be even more increased by means of software of dynamic compression of the computer information. It allows to use more effectively possibilities of a subsystem of disk memory as in case of office programs, and the majority of games, except for, perhaps, rather a small number of that demand limiting productivity from computer hardware.
